Everything you need to know: 

Before placing an order with Sofanatic, please make sure that you have read through all the terms and conditions to avoid any misunderstandings.


Return Policy:

Returns are accepted within 14 days from the delivery date. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

The product has to be BRAND NEW and in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING; meaning that if the sofa has been assembled, and or used, it CANNOT be returned. Buyer will be responsible to send back the product and pay any postage costs when returning the product. 

Refunds will be sent back with the same payment method, for example, if you paid via PayPal, your refund will be processed and handled via PayPal.

By purchasing with us, you have read, understood, and agree with our Refunds & Returns Policy.

Shipping Costs are non-refundable.

If, there are no errors upon delivery but you would like to send the sofa back for any reason with the driver, any shipping charges paid will not be refunded. 


Our Products:

The images of the Products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only, and Products may vary slightly from these images. We make every effort to display the colours accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the Products in person. Due to the handmade nature of our Products, we allow a 5cm tolerance for dimensions, so the dimensions of a Product you receive may differ slightly from those listed on our Website.

For Custom Sofas:

If the buyer chooses a custom sofa (i.e: a fabric/colour combination that is not preselected such as “Cambridge 5/6” the buyer must pay a small deposit, which is taken off the end total for the sofa. This applies to any sofa with the option to choose both colour and fabric options, and also any specific requests. Sofas include, but are not limited to: Oston, Leicester, Houston

Subsequently, if the sofa is made by the manufacturer, the order cannot be cancelled or amended without the buyer losing the initial deposit. If you need to cancel or change your order, please make sure to contact us and see whether your sofa has been made, or you may lose your deposit.

If the buyer has paid with any other method than cash, an automatic 20% of the total order amount will be taken as deposit. Therefore, if a change to the order is made and the sofa has been manufactured, 20% of the order total will be lost. Additionally, if the order is cancelled, a maximum of 80% of the order total can be refunded.

If the custom sofa is to be returned within the our returns policy, then the deposit loss rule still applies.


Delivery & Shipping:

The estimated delivery time is shown on all sofas, but we allow up to 2-8 weeks in case of delays to make the order and deliver it promptly to your door. 

Please note, that the “Estimated Delivery” shown on our sofas is only an Estimate and therefore is not a concrete/fixed/guaranteed delivery date.

Assembly of sofas is £50 (except Osaka) and £70 for U-Shape sofas (and Osaka).

Luxury Branded sofas are £100.

This amount is paid on delivery in cash and goes fully to the driver. We do not assemble bed frames.

If you live in a flat, or the sofa is going up higher than the ground floor, you must bring 2 people to help the delivery driver. Some sofas and sofa beds are too heavy or large for one person to carry and so if you do not assist in bringing more than 1 person, the driver may charge £10 per floor that you do NOT have a lift.

As the buyer, you are responsible to make sure the product’s dimensions will fit in the desired location. Also, please check if the product will fit through the entrance(s) and door(s) of the premises. 

All of the delivered items must be colour-checked by the customer before signing the delivery confirmation note. If any defect has occurred it must be written on the delivery confirmation note. Once the note is signed by the customer we cannot accept any complaints regarding item damage in transit or any order mistakes. 
If any delivery that has been confirmed by both parties is not able to be completed on the day, the delivery will be rescheduled for the next available date in the area. If you are not present or fail to notify us that you are no longer available for the delivery, you may be charged a delivery fee by the driver based on the distance from our warehouse.


Each piece of furniture is covered by our 12 months warranty that covers any manufacturing problems, the warranty however doesn’t cover: 

  1. Products in full faux leather/eco leather/soft (that is not under ‘Leather Approved’)- any product like this is extremely risky and by purchasing any product in this material, you are aware that this voids any warranty, therefore, we are not responsible for any damages or tears in the faux leather fabric or stitching and cannot replace, refund or return your item.
  2. Damage resulting from a random situations or other circumstances that are not a dealer’s fault. 
  3. Natural wrinkling of the fabrics produced during a proper use of the furniture resulting from the properties of fabric and of the properties of the foam used by the manufacturer. 
  4. Deformation of the foam resulting from the proper use of furniture. 
  5. Damage caused by standing on the furniture or jumping on it. 
  6. Damage of the furniture cause by tearing their elements. 
  7. Damage of the storage compartments cause by placing an excess of their capacity specified by the manufacturer. 
  8. Dirt or fabric damage arising in connection with the performance of cleaning procedures that do not comply with the recommendations of the manufacturer. 
  9. Difference in the shade of wooden elements resulting from the natural origin of the raw material. 
  10. Damage caused by animals. 
  11. Damage or changes in the material upholstery of the furniture caused by setting the item in close range of source of heat or light. 
  12. Damage caused by non-compliance with the rules of using furniture or as a result of using the furniture in a manner inconsistent with their purpose.



It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the goods that have been ordered can be delivered and will fit into any entrance ways/hallways/corridors, etc and that the entrances are wide enough for the goods to pass through and will also fit in the required location within the delivery premises.

Our driver will bring the sofa into your property if is located on the ground floor. If you require our driver to bring the sofa upstairs you must provide at least 2 people to help the driver.

There is always one driver delivering goods.

All deliveries must be unpacked by the customer so that you can check over the condition of the goods before signing the delivery note. If any fault or damage is detected, this must be written on the delivery note to ensure the reason for damage. Once goods have been accepted and signed for, we cannot accept claims for goods damaged in transit if you have not indicated damage on the delivery note.

We do not include assembly with the delivery, it is at the drivers discretion to do so which is usually charged at a fee. Regardless, our clients will receive instructions.

Our drivers are very careful, however we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to your property whilst delivering your goods.

Any customer refusing delivery of goods for any reason other than goods damaged in transit will be responsible for the delivery costs to the customer and the return to our warehouse 

By placing an order with Sofanatic, you have read, understood and agree with all the terms and conditions and will also sign a document upon delivery, as a physical copy of agreement to these terms.

Fire Safety and Compliance with UK Law

1. General Compliance:
 All furniture and sofa products offered by Sofanatic adhere to the relevant UK laws and regulations concerning fire safety.

2. Fire Safety Standards:
 Our products comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993, and 2010), ensuring that all materials used in the manufacturing process meet the necessary fire safety standards.

3. Fire Resistance Testing:
All furniture and sofa products’ materials have been tested to ensure they meet or exceed the prescribed standards set forth by UK regulations.

4. Flame Retardant Materials:
 All materials utilised in the construction of our furniture and sofa range are carefully selected and treated to incorporate flame retardant properties, enhancing the overall fire safety of the products.

5. Product Labelling:
Each furniture and sofa product is labeled with relevant fire safety information, including compliance with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations, to provide customers with clear and transparent information about the safety standards of the purchased item.

6. Customer Awareness:
Customers are encouraged to read and follow the care and usage instructions provided with each product to maintain its fire-resistant properties and ensure its continued compliance with safety regulations.

7. Warranty and Liability:
Sofanatic extends a warranty on its furniture and sofa products in line with industry standards. However, any alterations, misuse, or neglect of the product that compromises its fire safety features may void the warranty.

8. Recalls and Product Safety Updates:
In the event of any identified safety concerns or a need for product recalls, Sofanatic will promptly communicate with affected customers, providing instructions and support to address the issue and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.

9. Legal Compliance:
Sofanatic is committed to abiding by all applicable laws and regulations related to fire safety in the UK. Any changes in legislation will be promptly incorporated into our manufacturing and business practices.
